All you need to know about Rana Q

Rana Q is Africa’s best emerging twin recording artiste, a British born Ghanaian musical duo of identical twin sisters, composed of Elvira and Elvina Quashie.


The name Rana Q was derived from the last two letters of their names (Ra and Na) and “Q” being the first letter of their Surname which doubles to mean (Queens).

Born to Mr. Frank Quarshie of blessed memories and Mrs. Miriam Hammond Quarshie, Rana Q hails from Anum Boso in the Eastern Region and James Town in the Greater Accra Region respectfully.

Born on 23rd February, Elvira and Elvina are the first set of kids to their parents. The duo completed Morgan International Community School and hence took music as a full time occupation because they have passion for singing.

Known best known for Afrobeats and Dancehall genres, Rana Q has two songs out which is a cover to Kuami Eugene’s “Obiaato” and “Sika” by Adina, preparing to unleash their first song soon.
